Weight Loss Injections Posted or Updated on 6 Sep 2024

There have been several news articles recently about the new weight loss injection that has been recommended to be prescribed on the NHS for patients who meet certain criteria. Currently, in West Essex, this medication cannot be prescribed by a GP in Primary Care. 

If you meet certain criteria, we can refer you to a local NHS weight management programme who in the future may be able to refer you on to a specialist to consider the new weight loss injections.
